Citizen, the leading U.S. public safety app, is now available in 6 new markets: Portland, Tulsa, Lexington, Honolulu, Syracuse, and Beaumont. Citizen’s expansion into these markets will provide nearly 5 million people with access to the company’s real-time alerts and suite of safety tools.

This expansion increases the app’s total coverage to 46 cities, up from 16 at the same time last year. Citizen’s flagship product, Citizen Premium, which provides access to trained safety agents, recently helped find two different missing teens in one week.
